Plan event medical support by assessing risk, defining provider responsibilities, coordinating access and communications, and reviewing readiness.

Start with the event risk profile

Consider audience size and characteristics, activity type, venue layout, duration, environmental conditions, access constraints and distance to external emergency services. These factors help the authorized medical provider determine an appropriate clinical and staffing response.

AxisCore can coordinate planning inputs and delivery interfaces but does not replace clinical risk assessment or regulatory approval.

Define roles and provider authority

Identify the authorized medical provider, scope of service, clinical lead, event control interface and responsibility for equipment, consumables, records and escalation. Accreditation or licensing belongs to the relevant delivery entity and should be represented accurately.

Confirm requirements against the actual event, venue and applicable UAE authority expectations rather than copying a previous plan.

  • Authorized provider and clinical lead
  • Coverage hours and locations
  • Equipment and transport responsibility
  • Escalation and external-service interface

Integrate access and communications

Medical teams need workable access routes, identifiable treatment locations, reliable communications and a clear way to reach event command. Crowd, security, parking and vehicle plans must account for emergency movement.

Brief non-medical staff on how to raise an alert and protect the route without asking them to make clinical decisions outside their competence.

Verify readiness and learn after the event

Before opening, confirm staffing, credentials where applicable, equipment, communications, access, welfare and escalation contacts. Record issues through an agreed channel while protecting personal and medical confidentiality.

A post-event review should focus on response coordination, access, communications, resourcing and improvement actions. Clinical records remain under the controls and responsibilities of the authorized provider.
